Another Win for SarWrites

And, we did it again! SarWrites has been recognized as Best Personal Blog at the Davao Blog Awards 2024, and I’m over here grinning from ear to ear! 😊

When I first started this little corner of the internet, it was a hodgepodge of random musings, over-shared opinions, and some poignant reflections. Honestly, I just wanted to write and maybe, someday, become a good writer (I'm still working on that part). I never imagined that one day, these unsolicited brain dumps would turn into something award-worthy. 

Back then, my only audience was probably just me, a few curious friends, and maybe a bot or two. Now, after years of battling my own self-doubt and trying to find my voice, I have all of you who laugh, cry, scratch your heads, and maybe even roll your eyes alongside me. And for that, I couldn’t be more grateful.

Winning this award is more than just recognition—it’s proof that you can make an impact by simply being yourself. Whether it’s through humor, brutal honesty, or heartfelt storytelling, this blog has been my way of connecting with all of you. And I hope that in one way or another, I have inspired someone to live unapologetically (but responsibly, of course).
