When you become a mom, you take on not just one, not two, not even three, but multiple roles.
As a mom of a teen, toddler, and a baby, I can be a referee, teacher, nurse, storyteller, an entertainer, event planner, a coach, caretaker, driver, repairman. And if I have the whole day, this list can go on forever. And I am not exaggerating.
But there are times when I just can not do it all. Even if there is a way to magically add extra hours to my day just so I can do all the things in the house that need to be done, burnout is real. And just like any other human being, I give myself a break.
This could mean backing down from a few responsibilities and just leaving them to the professionals. Being a chef, for example. On the days when I do not have the time to go on a trip to the grocery or the energy to slave away in the kitchen or when we just want to try something new, I order food from different restaurants with our trusted food delivery service app, Grab.
While the husband and the kids have different food choices, here is a list of my go-to food (in no particular order):
1. Southwing Cafeteria — 2-pc Chicken P108.00 / 4-pc Flavorful Glazed Chicken P175.00
2. LA Halo-halo — regular size P139.00 / 22oz P179.00
3. Tatay Rene's Pansitan — Pansit Palabok/Luglug Single P95.00
Then sit back, relax, and enjoy your food!
